Four areas, three questions each
Each answer is worth two points for Yes, one for Partly and none for No. The score runs from 0 to 24, with a subtotal for each area.
Cost
Do you watch claims and cost drivers all year, plan for large claimants and think beyond one renewal?
Competitiveness
Do you know how your benefits compare with similar employers and what your people value?
Compliance
Are filings, notices, attestations and vendor oversight owned, calendared and documented?
Understanding
Do employees know what they have, use it, and does leadership see the results?
What to do with your score
0 to 9: Needs attention
Pick the lowest area and fix one habit this quarter. A calendar and a named owner solve more than most people expect.
10 to 17: Solid, with gaps
Your foundation works. Close the gaps in your weakest area before the next renewal conversation.
18 to 24: Strong
Keep the cadence. Look at multi-year planning and measuring return to find the next gain.
Common Questions
Is my information stored or sent anywhere?
No. The score is calculated in your browser and nothing you select is saved or submitted.
What does the score mean?
It is a quick self-check of good practice, not an audit. A low score points to where to start; it does not mean your plan is out of compliance.
Can CFH review the answers with me?
Yes. Book a free 30-minute call and we will walk through your results and the areas that matter most for your group.
