Your benefits, without asking HR first.
Elections, dependents, plan details and what comes out of each paycheck — in one place, on a phone, at nine at night when you actually have the question.
Most benefits questions have a self-service answer.
See What You Chose
Your plans, your coverage tier and the per-paycheck cost — the number that should match what your pay stub actually deducts.
Add or Remove a Dependent
A new baby, a spouse who changed jobs, a child who aged off the plan. The change is recorded where the carrier file is built from.

Finish What Is Outstanding
Anything unsigned or half-completed is visible, rather than sitting in an inbox waiting for somebody to notice.
When you are allowed to change anything.
Outside open enrollment, your elections are locked
The exception is a qualifying life event — marriage, a birth or adoption, divorce, or losing or gaining coverage somewhere else — and it comes with a clock. Plans must allow at least thirty days after most of these events to request a change. Certain state coverage events carry a longer window.
Miss it and you wait for the next enrollment period, whatever the circumstances, because the plan is not permitted to make an exception for you. So the moment to act is the week it happens, not the week the first bill arrives.
Two numbers that should always agree.
What the system says you elected, and what your paycheck deducts.
When they disagree it is almost always a timing gap — an election that landed after a pay cycle had already closed — and it is fixable. The one thing not to do is wait and see whether it sorts itself out, because a deduction that is wrong twice is harder to unwind than one that is wrong once.
If a pharmacy or a doctor’s office tells you that you are not covered and you believe you are, that is a different problem and a faster one to raise.
Every one of these is a call you do not take.
Self-service is not really a cost-saving feature. It is a volume filter.
The questions that still reach you become the ones that actually need judgment — a coverage dispute, a plan choice somebody is agonizing over, a claim that went wrong. Those are worth your afternoon. Looking up a member number is not.

We’ll tell you whether it looks competitive, where we see opportunity, and the five questions we’d put to your carrier. No cost, and no obligation to move anything.
