Go365 for Medicare Advantage and Medicaid members is a consumer program, not an employer benefit, and an employer cannot buy it.
This version of Go365 is offered to eligible members of certain Humana government-program plans. It is not an employer group product, so an employer does not select or buy it.
Humana Is Exiting Employer Group Medical
Humana has announced it is exiting its employer group commercial medical business, including the wellness and rewards programs tied to it. Treat this page as background on how Go365 works, and confirm with Humana whether any program is open to a specific group before relying on it.
What the program is and what members do.
What Humana says it is
Humana describes Go365 for eligible Humana Medicare Advantage members as a healthy living and learning program that rewards members for completing healthy activities. Humana also lists a version for Humana Healthy Horizons Medicaid members. Humana says it is not available with all Humana plans.
What members do to earn
Humana’s Medicare page groups activities into getting screened, such as annual wellness visits and colorectal and breast cancer screenings, connecting and learning, such as volunteering or an art class, and getting active, such as a verified workout with a fitness tracker or a SilverSneakers class where the plan offers it.
How rewards are redeemed
Members redeem rewards in the Go365 Mall for gift cards to retailers such as Shell and Walmart Select Cards for Healthy Living. Humana states rewards have no cash value and must be earned and redeemed in the same plan year, and rewards not redeemed before December 31 are forfeited. Humana tells members to register for MyHumana to check eligibility.
Eligibility, funding and plan design.
Who can use it
Eligible Humana Medicare Advantage members and Humana Healthy Horizons Medicaid members, according to Humana. Eligibility is tied to the member’s plan, and Humana says the program is not available with all plans. This is not open to an employer’s active workforce through a group medical plan.
How it is sold
It is part of a member’s Medicare Advantage or Medicaid plan, not something an employer purchases. These are government-program products sold to individuals. An employer with retirees on a Medicare plan should treat the benefit as belonging to the retiree’s plan, subject to that plan’s terms.
Where it fits for an employer
It does not fit the active employee benefit program. It matters mainly to employers with retirees who have Humana Medicare Advantage coverage, who may mention it, and to anyone comparing Humana’s consumer rewards with the employer program. Keep the two clearly separate in communications.
What to settle before relying on it.
Are we describing the right program to the right people?
Employee communications should not suggest that active employees can earn Medicare-style gift card rewards. If a retiree asks, direct them to Humana and MyHumana to check eligibility under their own plan. Mixing the two audiences creates confusion and complaints, and it can set expectations nobody can meet.
Do we have retirees on a Humana plan?
If your retirees are in a Humana Medicare Advantage plan, ask whether the plan year, benefits and Go365 availability are changing. Review retiree communications for accuracy, since Humana notes that limits and restrictions may apply, and ask Humana to confirm the current plan year terms.
Does the plan year limit matter?
Humana says rewards must be earned and redeemed in the same plan year and are forfeited if unused after December 31. Retirees who miss that date lose the rewards. Reminders belong in your retiree communications calendar if you send one.
Common questions about this program.

No. Humana lists it for eligible Humana Medicare Advantage members and Humana Healthy Horizons Medicaid members, and says it is not available with all plans. It is a member benefit, not an employer product.
What rewards do Medicare members earn?
Humana says members earn rewards for preventive screenings, verified workouts and community activities, and redeem them for gift cards in the Go365 Mall. Rewards have no cash value.
Do these rewards expire?
According to Humana, rewards must be earned and redeemed within the same plan year, and rewards not redeemed before December 31 are forfeited.
