Employer plans: roughly 10%, and your number may differ.
The Hill reports that employer health plans are expected to rise roughly 10%, below the HealthCare.gov increase. Michigan’s approved small-group average for 2027 is 9.6%, which sits close to that figure.

Three reasons a group’s number can differ from the average.
Carrier spread
DIFS approved carrier increases from 7.0% to 14.8% for 2027, so two employers at the same average can see very different renewals.
Claims experience
Larger groups are priced more on their own claims, and smaller groups more on the pool. Where your group sits changes how much the average applies.
Plan and county
DIFS notes that rate changes vary by plan, geographic area and tobacco status, and that employee premiums also depend on what the employer contributes.
